Our Fairtrade Original Coffee
In 2004, Idé Coffee took on a pioneering role by being one of the first companies to position itself as a supplier of fair coffee to businesses. Since 2014, Idé Coffee has been the exclusive distributor of Fairtrade Original coffee and tea to companies in Belgium — and we’re incredibly proud of that!
In 2020, we visited the Red Ecolsierra cooperative (photo) in Santa Marta, Colombia. Today, we are proud to announce that we’ve included the cooperative’s Community Coffee in our range.
Why should your company choose our premium Fairtrade Original (Community) coffee?
Because the impact is huge! The coffee chain is 100% traceable and transparent. Fairtrade Original and Idé Coffee maintain direct contact with the coffee cooperative and farmers. The beans are Fairtrade certified, organically roasted, and of outstanding quality. And most importantly — the farmers receive a Linving Income Reference Price (LIRP)
